Advantages of Hiring a Portable Shower
Whether you’re in the middle of a bathroom renovation project or you have a temporary living situation and don’t have access to a traditional bathroom, a portable shower is a great option.
Gone are the days of leaving a black camping shower in the sun for hours to heat the water up then rushing to wash yourself in the few minutes you have before the water runs out!
Portable showers have come a long way in recent years including hot water supply, waste water disposal and being spacious inside.
Apart from the obvious benefits of hiring a portable shower there are other benefits too:
- Comfort
Gone are the days of having cold showers! Most portable showers these days come with either a gas califont (heats the water using gas) that is fitted to the back of the shower or a free standing version. Either way these usually hook up to a standard BBQ gas bottle and will give you around 15 hours of shower time. Great for those cold winter nights.
- Ease of Use
Portable showers are so easy to use. When you’re ready to have a shower simply turn on the hot water, the gas califont automatically starts up to heat up the water and within 5 to 6 seconds you’ll have hot water. Waste is discharges through an outlet on the back of the shower base and moved via a 10m flexible hose to the nearest gully or waste discharge point.
- Portable
Portable showers use a similar sized shell to traditional portable toilets but with the holding tank removed meaning you have plenty of floor space. Often customers comment that the portable showers are more spacious than their permanent showers. These can be placed pretty much anywhere that you have some level ground. Some hire companies supply a 10m waste hose that can be run into a gully to get rid of the waste.
- Convenience
Having a shower after a hard day’s work is one of the best feelings. Now imagine you’re having your bathroom renovated and don’t have that option. Go to the gym? Use a family members bathroom? All fairly inconvenient. Hiring a portable shower that is at your own home is by far the most convenient option to keep clean and healthy.
